Dudde Sidenius-Eberle is a second-year design and ceramics student at The Royal Danish Academy, Crafts in Glass and Ceramics.

For Dudde, clay serves as a powerful medium through which she articulates her thoughts and ideas into tangible works. She believes the possibilities with clay are limitless, with only her own creativity, time, and resources defining the boundaries of what she can create.

Drawing inspiration from the world around her, Dudde find creative energy in everything - from the rhythms of nature and the changing seasons to social interactions. Her work frequently explores themes of sensuality, movement, vitality, and humor, creating pieces that resonate on multiple levels.

Dudde has always been a tactile individual, deeply engaged with the materials she works with. This core connection informs her artistic process, resulting in shapes that invite viewer interaction and exploration.

Her works are primarily realized in the plaster workshop, where she fabricates molds. She combines traditional craftsmanship techniques with modern methods. She creates objects that she has personally shaped in clay and plaster, while also utilizing digital technology, including Rhino, as a tool to achieve results that surpass what can be accomplished by human hands alone.

With a keen focus on color and surface texture, Dudde investigates how these elements influence the perception of form, enhancing the viewer’s experience.

Dudde aspires to build a career through her creative work and is eager to explore materials beyond clay.
